Screening For Plagiarism

Plagiarism, according to KBBI, is taking someone else's writing (opinions and so on) and making it seem like your own writing (opinions and so on), for example publishing someone else's written work under your own name.

Plagiarism can also be in the form of "self-plagiarism", which is citing your own work that has been published without applying the correct citation rules. Therefore, the editorial team of the Social and Government Journal (JSP) will strictly combat this, by conducting an initial check before the manuscript is sent to the reviewer. The plagiarism tool we use is TURNITIN.

In the event that this plagiarism activity is not detected by either the editorial team or the tools we use, we have the right to withdraw the published manuscript that is detected as plagiarized based on a report from the related party who feels aggrieved.

To check for possible plagiarism, the manuscript is submitted using the TURNITIN application.
