The COVID-19 pandemic has driven a shift in the implementation of higher education from face-to-face learning to e-learning-based Distance Learning (PJJ). This study aims to analyze the perceptions of STPM Santa Ursula–Ende students in the 2020/2021 Academic Year regarding the implementation of PJJ during the pandemic, including aspects of accessibility, punctuality of lectures, improvement of theoretical understanding and skills, and accuracy of material delivery. The study used a descriptive survey method with a Likert Scale, supplemented by Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and literature studies. From a population of 1,400 students, a sample of 204 students in semesters I and V was obtained. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using a percentage index. The results showed that student perceptions of the implementation of PJJ were generally positive, with an average achievement of 70.16% for the four indicators. The accuracy of material delivery according to schedule was the aspect that received the highest rating (79.61%), followed by punctuality and suitability of the lecture schedule (73.82%). Distance learning (PJJ) accessibility scored 67.15%, indicating that the system is relatively accessible, although not yet fully effective. Meanwhile, improving theoretical understanding and skills was the weakest aspect, with a score of 60.09%. The FGD results revealed a gap between student expectations regarding interaction, discussion, and in-depth study of the material and actual learning behavior, such as minimal reading of materials, asking questions, and in-depth study of assignments, as well as distractions from work and other applications. The study concluded that distance learning (PJJ) e-learning is worth maintaining by strengthening learning interactions through a combination of PJJ and limited face-to-face lectures.
